CREATION OF THE DISCORD

Prior to the Fall 2018 semester, Eric Aaberg created a discord for incoming freshmen. After the discord growing, it expanded to everyone at UTD and from the discord, grew Comet Life.

GROWING THE TEAM

The Comet Life team was 4 people until our first wave of applicants, growing to 10-15 students. The organization's operations however, were still scattered.

PUSHING THE WEBSITE

After introducing a dedicated web development team, Comet Life could focus more of maintaining the website and pushing it more, introducing the team page, more petitions, and later Comet Comics.

FIRST BIG MERCH

For the holiday season of 2019, Comet Life created merch featuring Temoc, Enarc, and Tobor.

MOVING TO ONLINE

Due to the UT Dallas campus being closed down for the late spring and summer, Comet Life had to transition to online. All operations have been moved to discord. With being stuck at home, new content has been introduce, including Comet Comics.

RESTRUCTURING AND OFFICER POSITIONS

With the Comet Life team constantly growing, changes had to me made, introducing Senior Comet Life Member positions as officers and a larger executive council.
